8monkey Labs is an independent game development studio based in Cedar Falls, IA (USA). Founded in 2005, 8monkey Labs is the architect behind the multi-platform Marmoset Engine™, creators of the realtime toolkit, Marmoset Toolbag, and developer of the time-traveling action-shooter: Darkest of Days (2009).

8monkey focuses on creating innovative, outdoor 1st-person gaming experiences for digital distribution platforms. When not actively developing games, 8monkey dabbles in making realtime rendering real pretty.
