AIA USA, Ltd. opened its doors on April 1, 2001, and published its first game (Illbleed for Dreamcast), later the same month.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Amusement Interface Associate Co., Ltd. Japan, AIA USA, Ltd. is owned by Yoshiaki Kanazawa, a veteran of the video games and coin-up industries since the mid-1970's.
