Artificial Life, Inc was founded in November 1994 as Neurotec International Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Neurotec GmbH. In 1997, Eberhard Schöneburg sold his shares in the German company, acquired 100% of the shares of the US subsidiary and renamed it.
