Budge Studios Inc.

About
Budge Studios is a game development and publishing studio based in Montreal, Canada. It was established in 2010 by David Lipes, Noémie Dupuy and Michael Elman.
The three founders previously established Wave Generation, providing audio production for major video game studios. When the iPad came to the market in 2010 and the App Store began to emerge, they saw an opportunity to make their own games.
The studio focuses on children's entertainment and started making apps for The Walt Disney Company as well as based on well-known properties such as Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants.
In 2012 they switched their business model from being a provider of apps to a full-fledges publisher, acquiring the licensing rights to franchises such as Caillou, Chuggington, Strawberry Shortcake and Garfield. In 2014 the founders were awarded the Ernst and Young Emerging Entrepreneur Award for Quebec.
