Description

Bug-Byte, based in Liverpool (UK), was started by Tony Baden and Tony Milner in 1980 publishing for the Sinclair ZX81, although the company quickly moved on to a full range of systems popular in the UK. They were later bought out by Grandslam, who used the name for a budget line consisting mostly of reissues.

In 1983 Bug-Byte moved into new accommodations in Mulberry House, Canning Place. They also took a half share in Spool Ltd, a tape duplicating company, based at the same location.
