Cascadia Games LLC

About
Cascadia Games is a game development studio. Until 2018 it also used the divisions / brands / labels Retro Phone Games and 2D Ferocity.
In 2012 it was described by member Chris Jorgensen as a loose collective of six creative people hailing out of Portland (USA).
On 5th May 2009 they released the TGB Kart Kit for the Torque game engine. The kit allows for the fast development of kart-like racing games on iOS and PC using the Mode 7 technique. The kit was a prominent revenue source and they used to complement each update with it with a new game, like Zombie Karts and Cascadia Kart. They eventually licensed the rights to Apogee's Wacky Wheels and released the remake Wacky Wheels HD in 2017.
Other early games the studio is known for are Cavorite and Cavorite 2. This eventually led to more 2D-scrolling platform shooters like the 2-bit Cowboy games (2014-2016), Ammo Pigs: Armed and Delicious (2018) and Mighty Aphid (2020).
The studio is currently developing Bay Lynx and launched a Kickstarter project to fund Moon Raider.
