Cosmi Corporation

Description
Cosmi Corporation was an American publisher and distributor of budget software and games, founded in 1982. Their software was made for a variety of systems: Atari 400/800 and ST, T.I. 99/4A, Commodore VIC-20, 64/128 and Amiga, Apple II family, IBM/Tandy-compatibles, Windows, PalmOS and PocketPC.
Cosmi sold its products directly in major retailers, warehouse clubs, specialty stores and computer electronic stores, as well as non-traditional markets such as drug stores, hardware stores and food chains. Cosmi Europe, Ltd. was established in 1997 in the United Kingdom to expand into the European market.
The company operated the Celery Software (1980s-1990s, productivity software and games) and Swift Software/Swift Jewel (1990s-2000s, budget games) labels.
On 25 April 2012, the company acquired ValuSoft from THQ, and would merge with the former into ValuSoft Cosmi.
