Dark Rock Industries is a shell company set up by Obsidian Entertainment in 2014 to hold the Pillars of Eternity trademark. On November 30th 2018, following Microsoft's acquisition of Obsidian Entertainment, Dark Rock Industries was merged into Obsidian.
