Design Design

Design Design was a software studio based in Manchester (UK) started by Greg Stafford. After releasing a number of titles independently, Design Design started to concentrate on contract programming for other houses. Nexor was their last release under their own label.

Simon Brattel owned the Design Design name so when he and two others wrote Halls of the Things, they needed a name to put on it. As they all liked the name Design Design, Brattel allowed its use. A few years later, when Brattel tired of making games, he left and took the Design Design name with him. He gave the other people a year to start a new company with a new name and they chose Walking Circles.
