Egerter Software started in 1994 and produced software tools such as the PowerRender 3D Engine and the WGT Scrolling Engine used by game developers.

Egerter Software was Chris and Barry Egerter. Around 2009/2010 Chris closed down the Egerter Software site as he was now developing games for the iPhone on his new site Rocking Pocket Games
