Description

FASA Studio, formerly FASA Interactive, was the video game arm of tabletop game company FASA Corporation. Hence, it worked with the latter's BattleTech license, including the MechWarrior and Mech Commander series.

On 19 November 1998, they became a development studio for Microsoft, who simultaneously acquired the video game rights to the BattleTech and Shadowrun intellectual properties.

FASA Studio would have its MechWarrior 3 project moved in schedule as MechWarrior 4: Vengeance due to development problems, while Zipper Interactive stepped in for MechWarrior 3 to release in 1999.

In the 2000s, FASA Studio would also release Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge in 2003 and their final game Shadowrun in 2007. The company closed its doors on 13 September 2007.
