Flaregames is a German mobile game development and publishing studio based in Karlsruhe, Germany, and founded in 2011.
On 18th April 2012 Keen Flare GmbH was announced, a joint subsidiary between developer keen games GmbH & Co. KG and Flaregames to develop mobile games. Keen games holds an 49% interest, Flaregames 51%.
On August 02, 2016, Flaregames announced its acquisition of Kopla Games, following their partnership on Nonstop Knight. Part of the deal was that Kopla Games remains completely operationally independent.
