FromSoftware, Inc.

Description
FromSoftware, Inc. was formed on 1 November 1986, in Sasazuka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan, by Naotoshi Zin. Originally it consisted of only four people with a capital stock of ¥2,100 million (which was roughly $12,572,215 in 1986).
It began as a software and business development company. During the early 1990's they started to work on 3D games for personal computers, but none of their projects from that time was completed. With the introduction of the PlayStation in 1994, FromSoftware entered the video game business. Their first game was King's Field (1994). The company has steadily released console games since then.
FromSoftware is best known for their King's Field, Armored Core, and Dark Souls series, as well as Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Their role-playing games are notable for offering a considerable degree of free-form exploration and challenge.
