Himalaya Studios was established in 2004 in Arizona by co-founders Britney Brimhall and Chris Warren.
The company's focus is on adventure games, the first of which was Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine.
In August 2009 the company announced that a new adventure game with a fantasy, pseudo-medieval theme was in the development stages.
