Ingenuity Works, Inc.

About

Ingenuity Works was founded in 1983 as Didatech Software Ltd. to make educational software for the Apple II. In 1985, they launched their breakout hit Crosscountry series; games in this series, such as Crosscountry Canada, would become staples of Canadian classrooms in the same way that The Oregon Trail is in the United States.

In 1989, they launched the typing tutor program All The Right Type for Apple II. It has since grown to be the centre of their business, and the company's primary product is a modern web-based version.
