Iwasaki Electronics Co. Ltd.
About
Iwasaki Electronics (or Iwasaki Giken Kōgyō) was an electronics R&D company that had early ties to Nintendo. Their first contract was to reverse-engineer the code of Donkey Kong following Nintendo's dispute with the game's developer, Ikegami Tsūshinki. Iwasaki later provided programming support for several first-party NES titles including Devil World and Soccer.
A group of Iwasaki employees led by Ryōichi Kitanishi joined with Nintendo R&D1 staff to establish the Nintendo second-party developer Intelligent Systems in December 1986.
