Kepler Interactive Limited

Description
Kepler Interactive was formed in 2021 by Alexis Garavaryan, a games industry executive who previously co-founded Kowloon Nights, a game development investment fund that has contributed to a number of indie studios. While the company is a publisher, they employ a co-operative model somewhat unique in the games industry, where many of their development partners get ownership stakes in the company and are encouraged to evaluate and assist in each other's projects. They also provide more traditional publishing services to third-party studios.
They are partially owned by Chinese conglomerate NetEase, who took a minority stake in the company in exchange for $120M in funding.
Since its inception, they have seen sizeable and quick success, releasing a number of hit titles and reaching $50M in revenue in 2022. As of 2023, it has also used the Kepler Ghost subsidiary for publishing, funding and marketing independent titles.
