Kodiak Interactive Software Studios, Inc. was a game development company located in Salt Lake City, Utah (USA). The company was founded by George Metos on November 11, 1997, doing business as Sculptured Software Studios.
Sculptured Software Studios was the company's internal development division, but was never credited under that name. All games were credited under the name Kodiak Interactive Software, the consumer label which was launched on March 3, 1998.
Kodiak's first game was Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies.
Kodiak Interactive closed its doors in December 2001. The company had almost finished Monsters Inc. for the PS2, which had just gone into Beta. The game was eventually released by another company.
