Kojima Productions

Kojima Productions is a 100% fully owned subsidiary of Konami.

This development team was created for Hideo Kojima to be able to focus 100% on producing and directing his games, and not have to be burdened with all the paperwork at his old position as a vice president of Konami Digital Entertainment Japan division.

Konami closed the subsidiary in 2015. In December 2015, Kojima Productions was relaunched as Kojima Productions Co., Ltd..
