Laguna Videospiele Vertriebs & Marketing GmbH (branded as Laguna Video Games) was originally founded in 1990 as SINA Konsolenspiele Vertriebs & Marketing GmbH and changed to Laguna Videospiele Vertriebs & Marketing GmbH in 1991 as Bomico's video game division, the company originally started as exclusive German distributor of Taito Corporation and Ocean Software then later European distributor of Sunsoft and Capcom, it was acquired by Philips Media in 1995.

Infogrames acquired Phillips Media in July 1997, and the company was merged into Infogrames Deutschland GmbH in 1998.
