Macadamia Soft (マカダミアソフト) was the adult games brand of Sapporo-based publisher dB-SOFT, used for only two releases between 1985 and 1986. The second Macadamia Soft release, 177, gained national notoriety in Japan after being mentioned in October 1986 in the National Diet as an example of "harmful software" by politician Shozo Kusakawa. dB-SOFT subsequently withdrew the release, discontinued the Macadamia Soft brand, and left the adult games market.
