miHoYo Co., Ltd. is a game development and publishing company based in Shanghai, China. It was founded in 2011 by a group of self-proclaimed "super otaku" students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dedicated to producing anime-style games, the company's motto is "Tech Otakus Save the World".
