About
PassionFruit Games is one of the first companies to focus on creating romance-themed games. Their first game, Tiger Eye: Curse of the Riddle Box is based on the paranormal romance novel by New York Times bestselling author Marjorie M. Liu. PassionFruit's motto is "games written by, designed by, and created for women."
The team that formed PassionFruit met while working together at game studio Her Interactive, where they developed the Nancy Drew Dossier series together, winning Yahoo's Hidden Object Game of the Year award for 2009. After being laid off in late 2009, the team decided to start a venture of their own. Tiger Eye: Curse of the Riddle Box was first released in April of 2010, and is now available at several major gaming portals.
