Red 5 Studios Inc. was a development studio with offices in Orange County, California and Shanghai, China. It was founded by former employees of Blizzard who left the company after completing World of Warcraft. Among the founders were WoW Team Lead Mark E. Kern, Art Director Bill Petras and Taewon Yun.
Firefall was shut down in 2017 and Red 5's full staff were laid off around the same time.
