European publisher Rising Star Games Ltd., headquartered in Hertfordshire, is a joint venture between Japanese publisher Marvelous Interactive Inc. and long-standing Swedish Nintendo distributor Bergsala AB. The company was founded in October 2004. The firm specializes in bringing the very best Japanese titles to the continent's shores and aims to reduce the period between Japanese and Western release, reversing the threat of grey imports.
