Rit's Co., Ltd.
Description
Rit's Co., Ltd. (有限会社リッツ) was a game development studio established in June 1991 by Hiroshi Kajiyama. Kajiyama and much of the other staff had previously worked at Artec, which had closed down earlier that year.
The company never published under its own name, but had several publishing/production brands through the 90s: Gimmick House and Magical Craft for games targeted at male and female audiences, respectively; and Ringer Bell and Riruhi's Party for adult PC games. The company also did contract development work on many titles throughout the '90s, most notably on Sega's Shining Force franchise.
Internal development at the company appears to have ended around 2002. Kajiyama would later transition his career to freelance illustration and manga work; he passed away in 2018.
