Rovio is a European mobile and wireless game developer. It was founded in 2003 and it is headquartered in Helsinki (Finland) and also has development studios in Sweden, Denmark, Canada, and Turkey. In April 2023, Sega announced it was set to buy Rovio Entertainment in a deal worth €706 million ($776 million).
