Established in 1996, Ubisoft Shanghai is a game development studio that has contributed to major Ubisoft brands such as Just Dance, Far Cry, The Crew, Assassin's Creed, Might & Magic and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. It has also published Ubisoft's and certain third-party titles for the mainland Chinese market.

With over 650 employees in the studio as of 2022, the teams have developed expertise in AAA games development, wildlife & open-world features, mobile games development, and live operations.
