SmileBoom Co.Ltd. (株式会社スマイルブーム) is a software development company based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The company was established in January 2008 by Takaki Kobayashi with a group of former Agenda / Argent staff, some of whom had been with that company since it originally broke away from dB-SOFT in 1990. The company is best known for its user-friendly game creation tools such as Pixel Game Maker and Smile Game Builder.
