Sparx Animation Inc

Sparx Animation, Inc. is an independent film, animation and visual effects studio in Los Angeles, California (USA), which incorporated in January 1995. The President and CEO of the company is Renaud Biscarrat.

The company began as a division of Sparx Animation and Visual Effects, a company originally based in Paris, France, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, also established in 1995. The former company divided into independent companies in March 2005.

This studio remained open when the Paris location (Sparx Animation Studios SAS) closed in November 2008 and moved the main company headquarters to Vietnam. On 14th September 2011 Virtuos announced to have acquired the assets and core team of VFX and animation company Sparx, reopening the company’s Vietnam studio.
