Swenska Tågwerkstäderna (STW) was a group of enthusiasts joined together to produce new Swedish freeware trains and addons primarily for the Trainz railroad operators and constructors.
Initially they also made add-ons for Microsoft Train Simulator, but it was difficult to support both games, and chose to only provide content for Trainz.
STW focused on historical accuracy and planned to provide locomotives and cars from many different eras of the Swedish railway history.
