Tokai Communications Corporation

Vic Tokai Corporation, part of the utilities conglomerate Tokai Group, is a Japanese telecommunications company founded in 1977, which runs several major cable television networks in Japan. They were involved in games publishing and development starting in 1986, until they left the market in 1997. They published both internally-developed titles and those licensed from other developers and publishers, and also developed a number of titles under contract for Sega. While active in the games market, they also had overseas publishing operations in Europe and the United States, though only the Japanese division was ever directly involved in development.
