Ubisoft Toronto

Ubisoft Toronto is the fourth Canadian development studio of Ubisoft Entertainment. First announced in July 2009, it was founded with an investment of the government of Ontario, which will put C$ 263 million into the project over a ten year time frame, on top of the half a billion C$ Ubisoft expects to invest.

The studio was opened by May 2010 and was assigned work on Ubisoft's high-profile titles. It was be headed by Yannis Mallat, chief executive officer at Ubisoft Montréal and producer of the Prince of Persia series, along with Jade Raymond.
