Viridis Corporation
About
Viridis Corporation was a programming studio, headquartered in Los Angeles, and co-founded by Lee Barnes in 1990. Their products consisted of interactive CDs, video games for the 3DO and CD-I libraries, and television programs.
They entered the PC CD-ROM market around 1994 and developed their own 3-D graphic utility for both PC and 3DO video games. Around 1995, the company’s business began declining due to the CD-i’s failure to keep up with other systems. In later years, the company was bogged with projects without much development.
