Visceral Games (Montreal)

About

Visceral Games (Montreal) was a division of Electronic Arts, Inc. based in Montreal, Canada. As a part of the larger Electronic Arts Montreal studio it was established in May 2009 when the Visceral Games brand was introduced as new division at many different EA studios, such as Visceral Games (Los Angeles), Visceral Games (Melbourne), Visceral Games (Redwood Shores) and Visceral Games (Shanghai).

It is not always clear when the specific Visceral Games division worked on a game as it is often lumped together with the general Electronic Arts Montreal. Specific confirmed work includes additional development on Dead Space 2 (2011) and the development of Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel (2013). In February 2013, shortly before the release of the latter title, the division was closed. In the credits of The Devil's Cartel, the main development is already credited as EA Montreal.
