Description

Warashi Inc. (株式会社 童) was established in August 1995 by Noriyuki Takasaki and a group of other former Athena staff. Their first title was the 1996 arcade shooter Shienryu, a spiritual successor to Athena's 1993 release Daioh.

Though they mostly produced mahjong games and mobile software, they also made the occasional shooter, such as the 2006 release Triggerheart Exelica, which has been ported to the Dreamcast, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2 since its original arcade release.

The company's website has been inactive since 2011, and the current status of the company is unknown. Recom was started by former staff in 2007.
