Description

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is a division of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (itself a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery) responsible for the company's video game operations. As of its formation in January 2004, it marketed games under the WB Games label.

On 12 February 2009, the company acquired multiple intellectual properties including the Mortal Kombat franchise, as well as the Midway Chicago and Surreal Software studios from the Midway Home Entertainment.

As of 2017, the company has used the Portkey Games publishing label for games which use the Harry Potter/Wizarding World license.
