Warthog Plc

About
Warthog was founded in April 1997 when a group of ex-Electronic Arts people came together. The team secured a contract from Digital Anvil to develop Starlancer.
The company then went on to establish a Playstation development team. Contracts to develop Star Trek: Invasion for Activision quickly followed, and would release in 2000.
Over the course of subsequent years Warthog has purchased other development studios, including Fever Pitch and Atod. In 2004, Warthog itself was acquired by Tiger Telematics and became a part of Gizmondo Europe.
After Gizmondo went bankrupt, former Warthog employees teamed up with those of Digital Anvil to create Embryonic Studios in 2005.
