About

Xtalsoft was a Japanese software house founded in 1982. They were mostly known for their role-playing games developed for Japanese computers; among those were Fantasian, Crimson, and Mugen no Shinzō series.

In July 1986, Xtalsoft joined six other companies to form the Disk Original Group, a collective publishing house headed by Square. The company's contribution to this project was Kalin no Tsurugi.

On October 1, 1990 Xtalsoft combined with T&E Soft to form its Osaka development department.
