Zango Games

Zango, Inc. was an online media company providing consumers free access to a large catalog of free, sought-after online videos, games, music, tools and utilities. Much like television, this content was funded by advertising and was free to the consumer.

Launched in March 2004, Zango was originally the brainchild of 180solutions, Inc., a company which specialized in cost effective search marketing and online advertising. Zango was essentially a search assistant application.

In June 2006, HotBar and 180solutions merged to form the new company, called Zango.

In April 2009, it was reported that Zango had closed its doors due to financial problems.
