ZeniMax Media is an American media company founded in 1999 and based in Rockville, Maryland (USA). It was established by Christopher Weaver and Robert A. Altman. The company develops and publishes games through its subsidiaries. Bethesda Softworks is tied most closely to ZeniMax, as it was previously founded by Weaver. All games are published through Bethesda Softworks with regional ZeniMax offices for distribution.
