2019: World President Challenges a Shooting Game

2019: World President Challenges a Shooting Game is a vertical scrolling shooter released by Capcom as part of April Fools 2019. In the game, the player controls the President of the World as he shoots his way through a variety of levels. Each level is themed after a character from the Street Fighter series and at the end of each level the player fights that character in a boss battle. The player character shoots automatically and the player can move them left and right using a mouse, touchscreen, or the arrow keys. Shooting enemies will earn the player energy which the player can unleash as a powerful screen clearing attack by pressing the "CA Bomb" button on the screen or by pressing the space bar. Enemies can also drop power-ups that the player can collect, these include: the Wide Shot, which gives the player a three bullet spread shot; the Big Shot, which gives the player a shot that is slow but can piece through enemies and obstacles; the Power Up, which increases the fire rate of the players current shot; and the G Barrier, which gives the player a temporary shield.
