2024: Mosaic Retrospective
Description
2024: Mosaic Retrospective is a single-player, mouse-controlled, charity ware game - the author hopes that anyone who enjoys the game will consider donating to UNICEF.
The game consists of a single, very, very large image showing scenes from 2024 that is broken into sixty thousand cells. The player clicks on these cells to change the colour, right click changes the cell to an orange colour while a left click makes it brown, a second right/left click will undo the change. The game is essentially puzzle, many cells contain a number which shows the number of adjacent orange cells and the player's task it to assign the correct colour to every cell. In addition to being divided into cells the image is also divided into regions, once all the cells in a region have been correctly coloured the orange/brown colours are replaced with the natural colours of the full image.
The game has music, a sort of light jazz piano, and auto saves on exit.
