5001 Games

Game cover: 5001 Games

Description

This is a games compilation of shareware and demo games which comes on four CD-ROMs, each CD contains a different type of game and has a menu program which autoloads naming the disc and showing the groups to which the games have been assigned.

There are many duplicate games in this compilation, for example: National Lampoon's Chess Maniac 5 Billion and 1; it appears in different game groups, while some other games appear two, three or more times, but as different versions.

Not everything on these discs is a 'proper' game. There are many levels for games like Hexen, Command & Conquer: Red Alert , Doom and others plus tools to edit and create additional levels. Then there are the utilities for tracking statistics in various sports, managing office teams, picking Lotto numbers and so-on.
The discs and their game groupings are shown below together with some of the games they contain.
