A World at War

Description
A World at War is a 1-player strategy game for the VIC-20.
You rule one of two superpowers, a peace-loving people whose biggest wish is to live in freedom and safety. The other superpower is controlled by a cold-hearted, scheming computer without emotion, programmed to keep its subjects in an iron grip and annihilate all resistance and every attempt at opposition both within and outside the country.
Based upon mutual suspicion between neighbors, hostility is growing between the two countries.
Each turn, the player can build a land base, spy on their neighbor, or activate a base to launch a nuclear missile. Game play starts in phase 1, Cold War, where the player must strategically place missile bases, while the enemy also places missile bases at unknown locations, although they can be discovered through espionage. War is inevitable, either started by the computer or player, at which point each side will take turns throwing nuclear missiles at each other until one side has either no inhabitants or no bases remaining.
