Across the Dnepr: Second Edition

Across the Dnepr: Second Edition is a scenario add-on for the regimental-level turn-based wargame Kharkov: Disaster on the Donets. It also serves as a remake of the 2003 game Decisive Battles of WWII: Across the Dnepr. The new scenario simulates the 1941 Battle of Smolensk, an important battle between the Axis powers and the Soviet Union on the Eastern Front during World War II. It also adds one new unit, the Russian NKVD, that prevents units from retreating. The expansion also refines the user interface and improves the AI.

This expansion updates the base game to version 1.20 which also adds 3 new free scenarios to it: Operation Husky, Operation Konrad, and Kirovograd. But this update can be installed separately and doesn't require the expansion.
