Description
Adelaide: The Crossroads Inn is an erotic fantasy visual novel and a remake of The Adelaide Inn.
Like the original game, the player takes on the role of Gunther, a man who owns the titular inn with his wife Mira. When the new queen declares that all inns must now pay twice as much tax, Gunther and Mira are left wondering how they are going to meet the queen's demands—until Gunther realizes that they can make more money by offering up Mira as a special service to their customers.
As Gunther, the player interacts with characters visiting the inn and makes decisions that determine how the story unfolds. Several of the customers from the original game return alongside several new ones, such as the witch Lilith, the catgirl Leila, and Quart the Quarterling. The choice system has been expanded, with the game now featuring multiple routes and endings. Money is now a mechanic, being used to purchase items from a mysterious trader which may also result in changes to the story.
