Adventure Blaster

This was an outreach attempt from the rec.arts.int-fiction newsgroup cadre to make sharing their peculiar retro hobby -- the playing of modern text adventure games -- more accessible to outsiders. As such, it bundled together ten original games that had already been distributed separately as platform-independent data files, packaging them with an installer that would set Windows '95 players up with interpreters that "just worked". Games in both popular authoring systems, TADS and Inform, were included, spanning three difficulty levels:

Beginner:

Intermediate:

• Babel
• The Edifice
• Kissing the Buddha's Feet

Advanced:

• Spider and Web
• So Far
• Losing Your Grip
