AeroKid

Description
AeroKid is an educational game in Dutch designed for children, primarily aimed at players aged approximately 8 to 12. The game introduces airport operations and basic aviation concepts through interactive exploration and a collection of child-friendly mini-games. In addition to subject matter learning, the game includes multilingual elements that allow players to practice multiple languages from their native one.
Gameplay centers on exploring different areas of an airport, including the terminal building, hangar, control tower, and aircraft themselves. Players can examine the cockpit and passenger cabin, gaining insight into how airplanes are operated and prepared for flight. Pre-flight activities include weighing luggage, passing it through an X-ray scanner, refueling aircraft, assigning passengers to seats, and assembling in-flight meal packages.
Once preparations are complete, players can step into the role of an air traffic controller, overseeing departures and flight operations. After takeoff, control can shift to the aircraft itself, where players learn about airplanes and helicopters from the perspective of the pilot. These activities are presented in a hands-on manner intended to familiarize children with aviation-related roles and responsibilities.
After completing airport tasks, the game offers a variety of leisure-focused mini-games, such as puzzles, sliding block challenges, quizzes, and an ABC word game. A built-in drawing studio allows players to create their own artwork.
