Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is an updated re-release of all the previously produced Age of Empires II content:

• Age of Empires II: HD Edition (itself an updated release of Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings and Age of Empires II: The Conquerors)
• Age of Empires II: HD Edition - The Forgotten
• Age of Empires II: HD Edition - The African Kingdoms
• Age of Empires II: HD Edition - Rise of the Rajas

Unique to this release are the overhauled graphics, crossplay between the Windows and Windows Apps versions through a server-based multiplayer system, 4 new civilizations (Bulgarians, Cumans, Lithuanians, Tatars), 4 new campaigns and edited existing ones, new game modes, new soundtrack, map editor tweaks, new units and map objects, challenge maps, gate construction using the mouse wheel, and zooming functionality, among else. For consistency with base game and expansion content naming, the new campaigns and civilizations set is referred to as "The Last Khans".
